Why Media Mind?

As I end my highschool career I have no place to switch my journalistic writing to. After two years of being in my journalism class writing about movies, art, or books it’s finally ending. Now I have created a place for myself where I don’t have to worry about a grade and TRULY write whatever I want. I’m excited to put my passions of writing and love for media to put together Media Mind!

This all started with my first record player in 2019. I was in seventh grade and everyone had the crosley suitcase record player, so as any trend follower I bought one. My very first record was Free Spirit by Khalid. With the mixture of desperation and undeveloped music taste I has happy to bring home the clear orange variant. As I sat on the floor putting everything together I was beaming with excitement, and as the needle hit the record it sounded terrible. Now I have made some major improvements 6 years later.

The order went vinyls, cameras, books, cassettes, cds, now dvds. Are my parents happy? No. Am I happy? Yes.
